03 Greedo shares his last album before prison, “God Level”

Today is a sad day for L.A.’s hip hop scene, as 03 Greedo (one of the biggest rising stars in the City of Angels) dropped off his last project before his 20 year prison sentence. Facing weapons and drug charges, he accepted a plea deal that let him avoid 6 life sentences and federal indictment. Greedo will be turning himself in on Wednesday, June 27th and wanted to give his fans a farewell album before the lengthy sentence. He took to twitter to share his feelings, writing “Ima miss this life. I worked so fuccin hard just to get my dreams erased…I love you. C u soon”. The album, which has a Makaveli: The 7 Day Theory inspired artwork, has features from some big names (like Rich The Kid and Lil Uzi) and more underground names too (Yung Bans and Yhung TO). Greedo described “God Level” as being “what California really sounds, looks, and feels like”. It will be released on all major streaming services at 9pm PST, but was uploaded on SoundCloud earlier today to listen to for free. Check it out below, and we will report any updates on Greedo’s sentence right here on True Magazine.
