Desiigner rose to fame in 2016 after the release of his debut single “Panda”, which reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The song was apart of his mixtape, New English. In February 2016, Kanye West (who sampled “Panda” for his seventh album The Life of Pablo), announced Desiigner’s signing to his GOOD Music imprint.
2017 has been full of speculation as to when Desiigner is going to drop his debut album, L.O.D. (The Life of Desiigner). It looks like it’s heading for a holiday release. A few promo singles have been released including, Liife (Feat. Gucci Mane), Outlet, Holy Ghost, and Thank God I Got It, but none are confirmed to be on the album.
On October 13th, Desiigner released a song titled “Friday The 13th” in honor of the unlucky day.The song is produced by DJ Relly Rell and 16yrold.
