ATLANTA TURKEY CLASSIC & HOLIDAY DINNER DONATION (NOV 21st 2015)

Several Atlanta area organizations including Street Watch Radio, Streetz94.5fm, Urban Edutainment, the Georgia Spartans, and Get WELL Soon (GWS), have come together to debut the first annual “Atlanta Turkey Classic & Holiday Dinner Donation”.

This event is a combination of service to our local communities, an investment in the healthy sustainable lifestyle of local Atlanta residents, and a showcase of talent from nationally ranked basketball players who are “Ballin’ for a Cause.” The Atlanta Turkey Classic will be split into two events. The first event will be a distribution of canned goods, fresh turkeys, and additional food items to local neighborhoods and the second event will be a culminating basketball game.

The giveaway and basketball game will take place on November 21, 2015. The giveaway will last from 12:00 to 2 PM and take place at four distribution points. The four locations are at the cross sections of: Cleveland Avenue and Metropolitan Pkwy, Boulevard and Ponce De Leon Ave., Columbia Dr. and Flat Shoals Rd., and lastly at the Andrew & Walter Young Family YMCA on Campbellton Rd for the final giveaway. The basketball game will also be held at the Andrew & Walter Young Family YMCA; the basketball game will begin at 3PM on the 21st..
