Before The Fame: Kid Cudi

Before Kid Cudi got signed to Kanye’s G.O.O.D Music, things were a little rough for him. Kid Cudi was born Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi on January 30, 1984, in Cleveland , Ohio, and grew up in Shaker Heights and Solon. He is the youngest of four children. He was kicked out of high school for threatening to punch the principal and had plans to join the U.S. Navy, but it ultimately didn’t work out because of his criminal record. Cudi later earned his GED and attended the University of Toledo studying film for one year before dropping out.
