Perfect 10 Productions owner, T.J. Jackson, took to Instagram on Wednesday to express his sorry’s and disappointment for the city’s decision. “At 3 p.m We were informed that the powers that be from City Government (including the Mayor) have CANCELLED our Black & White event scheduled at the River Center this Saturday. Our legal team is diligently working on this matter and documents will be filed in the morning.”
Jackson was hopeful the event would transpire, but things did not go as planned.
This may be a case of DejaVu. Remember last year when Chief Keef’s concert was cancelled in Chicago over fears of violence? Police had concerns that problems may arise because of previous mishaps and asked the club owner he was supposed to perform at to cancel the event-and he did.
