Texas group “Brockhampton” announce that they will be part of Apple’s Beats1 Radio family, with new show titled “Things We Lost In The Fire Radio”. It’s not completely clear what kind of show it will be, but group leader Kevin Abstract said there will be “new brockhampton songs all summer”, something for fans of the group to get excited about.
This show follows a sizable controversy surrounding group member Ameer Vann, who was kicked out of the group after abuse (physical, mental, and sexual) allegations made by some of his ex-partners or girlfriends. Not only was he kicked out of the group, but the tour the group was on was cancelled for the remainder of the dates (which included an appearance at the Governor’s Ball in New York), and their album “Team Effort” was pushed back in order to regroup and figure things out without one of their most valuable members.
The group released a video teaser trailer with a Dave Chappelle soundbite, as well as Abstract’s Instagram post with the promise of new music.
