They say the truth will set you free and for Corey “C-Murder” Miller (the younger brother of Master P) hopefully, that reigns true following a huge break in his highly publicized murder case that left 16-year-old Steven Thomas dead. Kenneth Jordan, the lead eye-witness, has recently admitted to lying about Miller’s involvement in an affidavit filed with the 24th Judicial Court.
Jordan now claims he knows the individual that shot Thomas and Miller’s attorney, Paul Baker, believes the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office actively forced him to submit a false statement by threatening him with criminal charges in an unrelated incident. With the new information on the table, Baker has reportedly filed a memorandum seeking a new trial for the No Limit legacy act.
Miller is currently serving a life sentence at the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola after being convicted of second-degree murder charges with a 10–2 verdict in 2009.
