Eminem On New Season of ‘Wild ‘N Out?’ Nick Cannon Puts In A Request

@Eminem @NickCannon #WildnOut #News – “Wild ‘N Out” makes its big return to MTV2 on Tuesday (July 9) for a “grimy” season in NYC, and though the lineup of guests already includes artists like 2 Chainz and A$AP Rocky, Nick Cannon is putting in one big request for the king himself: Eminem.

In an interview with MTV News, Cannon explained that Joe Budden will appear on the new season, and he was hoping that Em would tag along as well.

“Joe Budden is always out there talking reckless so I think this is the perfect platform for him and I’m hoping he brings his boss Eminem with him. That’d be interesting. We’ve been looking for him to do the show.”

“Interesting” is the key word here, as Cannon famously feuded with Eminem back in 2009 for throwing jabs at his wife Mariah Carey, who Em was rumored to date before she got hitched. It’s all love though, as Cannon said that “Wild ‘N Out” would be the perfect setting to put any issues to rest once and for all.

“First of all, we all know Eminem’s hilarious. We know that,” Cannon declared, going on to explain that he’d already asked Paul Rosenberg for a Slim Shady cameo.

“I actually asked his manager. I was in the elevator with his manager and was like, ‘yo dude tell Em to come through. He’s been talking greasy and this is the perfect platform for us to air it all out,’ ” Cannon said.

And just to prove that there was no ill will, the “Wild ‘N Out” host even admitted that he would be fine with losing to Em. “He’s probably gonna win!” Cannon said. “Eminem can take my comedy championship belt but I wouldn’t go down without a fight.”

“Eminem — we’re calling you,” he added. “Come do ‘Wild ‘N Out!’ ”

A brand-new season of “Wild ‘N Out” premieres on MTV2 on Tuesday, July 9 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.
