G.O. was born and raised in Boston by two Hispanic immigrants from Honduras and Colombia. Although always being into writing, it wasn’t until the age of 15 while living in Southwest Florida, that he developed his passion for writing music. It was the names of Jay-Z and Nas that helped develop his skill set as a hip-hop artist, Marvin Gaye and Sade influenced his sound, and the names of Little Brother and Kanye West that gave him the senses to be himself and to be the artist he is today.
In June 2012, G.O. Dropped his first project, It’s Just Me, a compilation of tracks made between the ages of 17-19. Upon its release, he was able to establish notoriety amongst friends and the local hip-hop scene in the Boston neighborhoods. Due to his local success, he’s been able to work with underground hip-hop legends such as Reks, Akrobatik, Rapper Big Pooh, etc.
Fast forward to late 2015, he’s in the final stages of finishing up his 2nd official project, The Hope, only this time around, with aspirations of touching the ears and souls beyond the city he calls home.
