About Huli Shallone:
Huli Shallone a Baltimore native, and a product of the roughest projects in Baltimore city, has been surrounded by drugs and violence his entire life. Huli started rapping around the age of 10/11 as well as played the drums, but he didn’t take music seriously. Growing up in a single parent home Huli reached to the street life to provide for his family at the young age of thirteen. He became enamored by the street life but also possessed another true love… music!Huli began pursuing his passion by performing in neighborhood talent shows and performances at the age of fourteen. It was not until 2000 that Shallone grew tired of the fast life and began to focus more of his attention and energy into his music. During that critical time he crossed paths with his longtime friend and partner Okie. Okie and Huli created a music group… Natures Problem. Their new partnership proved very successful making numerous hits and receiving air time several local radio stations. Ultimately he had 11 songs in heavy rotation in the DMV and Baltimore over time. In addition to radio play, Natures Problem performed live on television shows such as Apollo and 106 and Park. Natures Problem also toured with such acts as Lil Wayne, T-Pain Akon, Lil Flip and Mannie Fresh. Through his work he has made connections with people as Zaytoven and DJ Tay Rok.

Huli has decided to release his own project in response to the great feedback he received from his family and friends that heard the music he was playing around with. He saw that people really liked his work and decided he should share his music. In 2005, Huli put out a solo project which sold over 10,000 units and made him the most acclaimed and requested local artist throughout Baltimore, Washington DC, and several other cities. His hit for My Shorty received over 5000 plays on the radio and landed him performances internationally in places such as Grenada where he traveled with the television network BET.
