Last week, Juelz Santana pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a weapon on an aircraft reports the Associated Press. The two charges are in relation to an incident at New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport in March, where the Dipset rapper attempted to board an airplane with a loaded .38-caliber handgun and oxycodone pills. The government is suggesting 2-5 year sentence in prison for a plea agreement, though a judge can order the Harlem native to serve the maximum sentence of 20 years (10 years for each charge).
Until his sentencing arrives on Dec. 12, Santana is moving forward filming for VH1’s Love & Hip Hop NY and recording music. Soon after the news came out on Friday (Aug. 17), Juelz returns with a new bumping record for the streets called “Ez Work.” Out now on iTunes, stream it below.
