This is an extended cut of Kanye’s Rant on TMZ Live including his heated back-and-forth with Van Lathan.
Shortly after releasing a near 2-hour sit down with Charlamagne Tha God, Kanye West announced on Twitter he would be making a visit to TMZ headquarters with Candace Owens on Tuesday (May 1). During the appearance, Kanye spoke on Donald Trump and freedom of thought. One other subject West touched on was slavery, which lead to TMZ’s Van Lathan getting up from his desk and expressing disappointment in Yeezus.
“When you hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years? That sounds like a choice,” said Kanye at one point during the conversation. “You was there for 400 years, and it is all of y’all?.”
