Kendrick Lamar Will Induct N.W.A Into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

#NEWS NWA @KendrickLamar – While Ice Cube presented Kendrick Lamar with the award for Rap Album of the Year at the 2016 Grammys last week, K. Dot will be returning the favor to Cube for his own achievements later this year.

It’s been announced that Kendrick will have the honor of inducting N.W.A into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame at the official induction ceremony at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on April 8. The legendary West Coast rap crew joins Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, Chicago and Steve Miller as this year’s Hall of Fame inductees. Kid Rock, Metallica’s Lars Ulrich, Matchbox Twenty’s Rob Thomas and The Black Keys have also been tapped as presenters at the ceremony, which will air on HBO on April 30.

This isn’t the first time Kendrick Lamar has payed tribute to N.W.A; he interviewed the entire group (minus Eazy-E, of course) for Billboard last year, coinciding with the release of the Straight Outta Compton biopic.
