King Los’ latest mixtape Zero Gravity II already has over 1M downloads since it was released in March, the same month he announced his departure from Bad Boy/Interscope and told the world he was a free agent.
Yesterday, King Los sat down with DJ Damage on Revolt Live for a candid interview and sneak peak of his new video “Woke Up Like Dat,” the video premiered on Revolt’s hit show “The Gate” later that night. “Woke Up Like Dat” was directed by long-time HipHop video director, John Colombo. The song is play off of Beyonce’s “Flawless,” Los flipped it for the fellas. In the video, King Los wakes up surrounded by beautiful women after a night of partying and they proceed to turn up again. The video was shot in the Hollywood hills, it captures the essence of being young and having fun in the sun.
