The world has lost a legend. The great Etta James passed away yesterday at the age of 73. Born, January 25, 1938 and died January 20th 2012 just five days before her next birthday. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. She left a huge mark on the world with hits like “Somethings Got a Hold of Me” “The Wallflower” and “At Last”. She was truly an inspiration and a large influence on the artists we know and love today. Yesterday we saw tweet after tweet of messages commemorating the death of Etta from artist like Talib Kweli, Flo Rida, Kelly Rowland, Questlove, Estelle, Gabrielle Union and many more. Etta James was truly a legend and will be missed greatly. Rest In Peace Etta
