Rightfully so, everyone is talking about Lil’ Wayne’s long-awaited album Tha Carter V. Released last Friday (Sept. 28), the reception to C5 has been resoundingly positive with many highlights. An album fans have been waiting for since it was first announced in 2012, the early numbers are showing the huge support Wayne is getting as Tha Carter V is set to debut at No. 1 on Billboard next week.

Billboard reports the album is set to move nearly 450k units opening week. C5 is also set to become the third most first-week streaming numbers ever, behind Drake’s Scorpion and Post Malone’s Beerbongs and Bentleys, both the top two opening week streaming albums of 2018.
