Over the past week, Meek Mill has been on a social media campaign promoting a new record called “Stay Woke.” The Philadelphia MC took to the 2018 BET Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night (Jun. 24), where he premiered the politically-charged song featuring Miguel. Throughout the song’s lyrics and during the eye-opening performance, the MMG lyricist tackles the corrupt criminal justice system, gun violence and more social issues plaguing minorities in America.
