International superstars and platinum electro-hip-hop pioneers Far East Movement debut ‘Grimey Thirsty’ from forthcoming mini-album KTown Riot to be released October 28th on Cherrytree Records. The trap-infused song is produced by Central-American EDM powerhouse Rell the Soundbender and features Compton’s chart topping rapper YG.
ThisSongIsSick.com song premiere here:
“When we were in the studio with Rell working on the Murder Was The Bass project, we were just messing around and slowing down all the 150bpm trap tracks we had to 100bpm,” explains Kev Nish. “The drums snapped in a different way that reminded us of some old school MOP energy that our fans could really rock with.”
‘Grimey Thirty’ follows previous KTown Riot releases: club-shaker ‘Bang It To The Curb’ and fan favorite ‘The Illest’ featuring Riff Raff.
