Pop star, rapper and former American Idol judge Nicki Minaj, whose beefs with songstress Mariah Carey made headlines when the two hosted the Fox talent competition show, is now sparring with Jersey City rapper Ransom, TMZ reports.
Minaj told TMZ that she can “rap better” than Ransom, who has taken credit for ghostwriting for Minaj (nee Onika Tanya Maraj). The “Starships” singer then uttered a slew of profanities that would make Li’l Kim blush.
“I’m undisputed because I’m the only female rapper that [from] day one, I don’t need no mother—–n’ ghostwriter,” she told TMZ. “So if you telling that lie, you must be real f—in’ desperate and you still ain’t gon’ pop. How ‘bout that?”
The song at the center of the spat is Ransom’s “Man Alone.”
“Before Nicki was wearing those crazy wigs, I was doing verses for her, just hoping she made it big,” reads one of the lyrics.
