The 3rd season is set for production gives us a bone for fans to see. The writers’ room Twitter account has already confirmed the return of Kanan, played by 50 Cent, Lobos, played by Enrique Murciano and Julio, played by JR Ramirez. Did you think he really was dead? In her social media post, show runner Courtney Kemp Agboh, also teased the expected return of Ghost (Omari Harwick) and Tasha (Naturi Naughton), Bustle reported. She has been pretty open about her excitement for the new season, keeping fans updated about where the show is headed. In her recent interview with Madame Noire, she said: “I just pitched the Season 3 arc to the heads of PR and Marketing and their teams… Everyone was on the edge of their seats like ‘Oh, my God! No Way! You’re not going to f–king do that! Noooo!’ …They’ve been my only audience so far, but they’re pretty excited.”
So far, there has been no confirmed official release date for the third season premiere but it is expected to follow the trend of the first two seasons which premiered in June 2014 and June 2015.
