Pusha T Responds to Drake’s Interview, Says 40 Leaked Info About Drake’s Son

The Drake vs. Pusha T saga continued recently when the former recently appeared on an episode of HBO’s The Shop. In that discussion with LeBron James, Drake touched on his beef with the Virginia lyricist and detailing his fallout with Kanye West. During that interview, the 6 God also questions Pusha T’s line about Noah “40” Shebib’s battle with MS, and gives his opinion that West was the one who leaked the info about Drake’s son. In response to those claims, Pusha T decided to give his side this week when he appeared on The Joe Budden Podcast.

Speaking with Joe Budden, Rory and Mal, the President of G.O.O.D. Music makes a shocking revelation. According to Pusha T, it was 40 himself who leaked the information about Drake having a son named Adonis. Push says the news got to him via a woman who the hitmaking producer was having relations with.

“The information came from 40. It didn’t come from Kanye, at all. 40 is sleeping with a woman, who he talks to her daily,” says Pusha. “Five, six hours a day and ultimately speaks about how he’s disgruntled about certain things, notoriety and things involving Drake and his career, and so on and so forth. With that also came the fact that Drake has a child. With that also came the trip that everybody took to go see the child, and bring him gifts, and all this information. She divulged this information. That’s where it came from.”

Pusha also shot down claims the information was given to him by Kanye during the Wyoming recording sessions this summer. The Clipse MC revealed during that time, he was not allowed to be in the same room with Kanye and Drake due to their past history of jabbing at each other.

“I can’t be in the studio when Drake’s there. I’m not allowed. When we go to Wyoming, I’m there from the first to the seventh. Next thing I hear, Drake’s here and he’s there for this many days. Everybody else can be there. I can’t because I don’t play neutral,” he says. “You don’t get to shoot my homeboys, it’s not happening. Everybody not built like me. This is the music industry, this ain’t the streets.”

The veteran rapper would touch on deciding to the interview following Drake being passionate about the 40 MS line on “The Story of Adidon,” when Shebib was the source of a lot of the info on the diss record.

“Only reason I’m here now, for real for real, is because [Drake] was so passionate about the MS thing. And they did the backlight and they put the spotlight on his face, ‘When you said my friend,’ but your friend is the reason why. That’s how it came about. That narrative’s gotta die. Listen, it needs to die. It’s done. That narrative is done,.”
