Quavo’s ‘Quavo Huncho’ Debuts at No. 2 on Billboard

Quavo stepped out into the limelight earlier this month, with the release of his Quavo Huncho debut album. Loaded with appearances by Drake, Madonna, Cardi B, Kid Cudi, and Travis Scott, the project debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart this week. The Atlanta crooner’s full-length debut moved 99,000 units (6,000 from album sales) opening week, a large sum of that amount coming from streams according to Nielsen Music. The album actually officially released the night before on Oct. 11, collecting 11,000 units during that three-hour time frame which was not included in the final sales total.

Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V sits at No. 3 with 85,000 units, while Lil Baby and Gunna’s Drip Harder takes No. 4 with 71,000 units. “Boo’d Up” R&B star Ella Mai rounds out the rest, as her self-titled full-length debut studio album lands at No. 5.
