Rueben Wood Gets First Grammy Nomination Consideration

Officially being considered for a Grammy Nomination has been the recent news for producer Rueben Wood, as first-round ballots came out. Wood produced “Slow Motion” for R&B recording artist J Metro on his latest album “Graffiti The Lost Art”. Around the same time, Wood recently got the placement of other musical work on a new reality show “2 Wheelz N Heelz” on Industry TV. Breaking ground Wood has been in the studio relentlessly producing for upcoming tv placements, albums, and much more!

Wood released his last soundtrack album in 2016 for Documentary Classic Kutz, which released in Regal Cinemas in select Theaters July 22, 2016. Since then Rueben has been working on his own production album that blends EDM, Hip Hop, Trap, and R&B sounds. His new album is set to be released March 2018, just two months after the award ceremony for the 2018 Grammys.

Graffiti The Lost Art is currently being considered for a Grammy Nomination in the category, Album Of The Year, along with 4 other category considerations: Zebras & Erykah Badu: Best Arrangement Instrumental Or Acapella, Longing (Remix): Best Remixed Recording, Groove: Best R&B Song, Shower Me With Confetti: Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
