After Winnfield, La., police issued out a warrant for the arrest of Tony Holden, who was wanted in connection with the murder of Addarren “Lil Snupe” Ross of Jonesboro, La., last Thursday, the 36-year-old turned himself into authorities this morning at 10:15 am.
Winnfield’s Chief of Police Johnny Ray Carpenter and Assistant Chief Russell Jones took Holden into custody without incident. He has been booked into the Winnfield City Jail for charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
There has been no bond set as of this time.
This news comes following initial headlines over the weekend reporting that Holden was arrested after a warrant was put out for him on Friday (June 21). However, this wasn’t the case as Revolt confirmed today with Winnfield Police.
This comes as investigators continue to probe the early morning shooting that resulted in Ross’s death.
