What makes this year’s TRUE Magazine’s Southern Respect themed issue special is it’s all about the music. There will not be a lot of reading, but a lot of listening. Out of all the artists that are continuing the southern wave of music, is our prediction of a creeper for the south, and his name is SOLO. We had the chance to reach out to Solo, who is from Arkansas, the state you don’t hear many artists making a name for themselves outside of. He released a new song named “Juggin” that has strip clubs, DJ’s and Hip Hop critics loving it. Along with all of the music and list of artists we feel that’s doing it for the south, we had to add a list of 20 DJ’s that every artist should know who are trying to get their music played and 20 producers that creates that southern sound.
Closing out the issue is our Check My Fresh fashion section which is a 10-page presidential view on Black Scale’s Autumn/Winter 2016 collection, 7 new pair of sneakers that will make your fit complete and 9 handpicked snapback caps you can rock.
