Tony Danza Reveals He Was Pen Pals With Tupac During 2Pac’s Prison Sentence

Who’s The Boss actor Tony Danza revealed in a recent interview that he was prison pen pals with the late Tupac Shakur.

To this day, 2Pac is considered one of the most relevant rappers in the hip hop genre, and that doesn’t look to be going away anytime soon. His music left an impression on the genre that will never be forgotten.

With that being said, it’s always nice to know where Pac got some of his inspiration for music from. Surprisingly enough the West Coast rapper was actually prison pen pals with an unlikely individual in Tony Danza.

The television actor revealed in a recent interview with Access Hollywood, that the two actually wrote back and forth while Tupac Shakur was incarcerated. Danza states that he was looking to help inspire Tupac by creating a more positive message in his music to reach the children. “Maybe there is a better way to do this….Maybe there is a way to inspire kids,” Tony expressed.

After writing back and forth a bit, the two actually ended up meeting outside of jail once Tupac was released.
