Trillmatic – Brose Royce (A Kendrick MVP Exclusive)

After listening to this body of work by rap artist Brose Royce you get the feel that he has a bright future ahead of him, with his growing fan base and a whopping 156,000 followers on social media. The album is titled “Trillmatic” paying homage to one of the greatest MCs of all time Nas. It begins with “Eat” where he states that he’s just a rapper trying to eat. One of the standout tracks on the album is the catchy “Don’t I Look Good” featuring recording artist singer Anthony Lewis a track that everyone will like based upon the message and the sound it would do well in the clubs. The overall aspect of the album is that he’s a fighter his dad is middleweight championship boxer David Moore and he beat cancer. The rap game is tough you have to be determined, persistent, and strong because the world is filled with negativity whether it’s fans criticizing your work or even journalist who’ say means a lot to readers, whether or not you’re ready for the hustle, grind, and prolonged work ethic it’s going to come at you with all its got, so with him being the son of a championship boxer he’s ready.

In the song “Go Up” he states that some guys in the club look tore up while he has all the girls in his section. As a rapper you have to brag and look good doing it and with a album titled “Trillmatic“ you have to come with your own style which is what Brose does well. There’s another song titled “So Attractive” where he says that he’s so attractive, which is why all the girls can’t stay away from him. The song comes with the feel of that too which is why it’s another standout track from the album. Being from LA where there’s already established rappers Like YG or Nipsey Hussle who’s music is loved worldwide by hip hop music lovers you have to find your own style which Brose also does well.

If you haven’t listened to the album check it out it’s laced with some club bangers and a lot of feel good hip hop tracks. As I stated before if you like new music give it a try the Album cover pays homage to Nas’ “Illmatic” album cover where Brose replaces Nas with himself. This guy is a determined person he beat cancer, which takes a lot of determination and hope. The album has a ten-song track list with songs based on who Brose is as a rapper a very confident person.
