TRUE Magazine lands a “TRUE Magazine Sponsored DJ” deal with Atlanta’s own DJ Mook.
TRUE Magazine is on its 15th year and is known for showcasing the hottest main stream and Independent artists in Hip Hop. TRUE has gave the world stories such as Camron’s come back to Hip Hop, the famous “If it’s TRUE” (Rick Ross Voice) interview with Rick Ross about 50 Cent and the 1,000 plus indie artists stories that boosted their career in music. Now TRUE Magazine is taking it back to the basics with its Sponsored Class of DJ’s to assist in taking Hip Hop to the next level with servicing music and brands.
On (February 4th 2014), TRUE Magazine lands an agreement as a TRUE Magazine DJ with Atlanta’s own DJ Mook of the Core DJ’s. D.J Mook of the Core D.J.’s, was born into music. His exposure to the art of sound led him to follow the beats and give the deejaying industry his all. DJ Mook has created a remarkable resume for himself, and has been featured on and hosted several mixtapes with the likes of D.J. Khaled, D.J. Money Mike and D.J. Awesome just to name a few. He has also gained special thanks on hip hop’s Young Jeezy & 2 Chainz latest CD’s. D.J Mook was recently presented with a gold plaque to commemorate RIAA certified gold sales of more than 500,000copies of Def Jam Recording artist 2 Chainz album “Based on a Tru Story” and the certified platinum sales of “No Lie”. D.J Mook has received and has been nominated for several awards within Atlanta’s underground music industry. His name has graced the pages of Makin’ It Magazine, Pushing It Magazine, the popular World Star Hip Hop, and recently on the show 106 n Park. His drive for greatness, plus his strong business mind, keeps him in a successful state of mind.
