Was Michael Jackson Actually Featured on “Scorpion”?

When Drake unveiled the tracklist for “Scorpion”, one strange feature caught many fans’ eye. Michael Jackson has a feature credit on the song “Don’t Matter To Me”. While many speculated that this would just be a sample (particularly of MJ saying “the kid is not my son”), it is actually unreleased vocals from one of Jackson’s 1983 studio sessions with Canadian songwriter Paul Anka. In a recent interview, Anka explained how it came about. He told The Ottawa Citizen “It just came together creatively and intellectually. We’ve got a great record”. Listen to the song below!
