YG RELEASES NEW SINGLE “TWIST MY FINGAZ” TODAY!!

YG RELEASES NEW SINGLE “TWIST MY FINGAZ” THE FIRST TRACK FROM STILL KRAZY, NEW ALBUM DUE THIS YEAR ON DEF JAM RECORDINGS!  YG JOINS FELLOW DEF JAM ARTISTS BIG SEAN AND JEREMIH AS OPENERS FOR J. COLE’S FOREST HILLS DRIVE TOUR!

Compton-based rapper YG releases brand new single today, “Twist My Fingaz,” the first new track from his much-anticipated second album, STILL KRAZY, arriving this year on Def Jam Recordings. YG describes the explosive track as, “a statement record letting everybody know I’m back and still krazy!”

The upcoming long-player is the sequel to YG’s critically acclaimed #1 debut album of 2014, My Krazy Life, hailed as “a modern gangsta rap classic” by Complex, and chosen as one of the year’s best hip-hop albums by NPR, New York Times, Billboard, and numerous other media outlets.

The release of “Twist My Fingaz” comes on the heels of the opening date of what promises to be the hip-hop tour of the summer – if not the entire year! – As YG joined fellow Def Jam label mates Big Sean and Jeremih opening for J. Cole on his mammoth 27-city Forest Hills Drive Tour. The seven-week tour of the U.S. and Canada will opened at White River Amphitheater in Seattle on Sunday, July 12th, and will wrap up August 29th at Crown Complex in Fayetteville, NC. (Please see tour dates below.)

YG enjoyed a phenomenal year with My Krazy Life (released March 2014), which entered the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop and Rap Albums charts at #1. It blew up in the wake of the RIAA gold single “Who Do You Love” featuring Drake; and the RIAA platinum single “My N***a” (aka “My Hittas”) featuring fellow Def Jam superstar Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan. The track hit Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, YG’s highest-charting career single. “My N***a” went on to take double honors as Track Of the Year and Best Collabo, Duo/Group at the 9th annual BET Hip-Hop Awards.

YG is not looking back. The now platinum recording artist recounts on his journey thus far ,“I’m blessed, shout out to all my fans who copped the record and helped get it to platinum! We got many more to come!”
