YG Talks ‘Stay Dangerous’ Album, Madden Controversy, 6ix9ine & More

With his new album Stay Dangerous out now, YG is on a promo run for his third studio LP. The Compton rapper appeared on The Breakfast Club this week, sitting down with Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee. During the 48-minute conversation, YG discusses his entrance into the fashion world, having a collection in Barneys, and becoming a meme favorite on social media due to his outfit choices. The west coast representer also spoke on some records off Stay Dangerous, going to therapy and the importance of mental health.

The 28-year-old opens up on some recent controversies including his issues with 6ix9ine, Madden removing a Colin Kaepernick lyric off his “Big Bank” song, the current open case related to an incident in Las Vegas, and the song “FDT (F**k Donald Trump)” which his label Def Jam Records received a letter from Trump’s office to get removed.
