You had to be there: Post Malone’s NYC inspired Pop-up Shop

In today’s trendy culture, people go crazy over “Pop-Up Shops.” They are retail shops that are temporary or just for the day and are often hosted by celebs such as Kanye, Drake, etc. These shops usually include exclusive pieces that can be purchased at the shop for that limited time. These events build up anticipation and that “I gotta have it” energy from fans and followers. It’s a fantastic marketing strategy and a nice treat for loyal fans.

In celebration of the success from his last album “Stoney,” Post Malone hosted a 5 hour Pop-Up Shop with merch inspired by New York City On September 19th of this year. It took place on the lower east side of Manhattan from 3-8pm and people were definitely here for it. He made an appearance, and there was even a line wrapping around the block full of fans waiting for their exclusive pieces.

Malone’s “Stoney” pop-up shop included fall fashion pieces such as hoodies, crewnecks, tees, accessories and more. His pieces incorporated colors such as pastel yellow, orange, black with “Stoney Tour” printed on it and other exclusive styles you could only find at that location.

Post Malone’s album dropped December 9th of 2016 with a Debut at number 6 on Billboard 200 charts and went certified Platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). It all just goes to show with streaming ratings up to 3 BILLION times around the world that he made it big. Hits such as “White Iverson,” “Go Flex,” and “Congratulations,” it’s no wonder why people waited in the rain to support and purchase his Tour Merch.

Although still on tour, Post Malone is already in the works with another album called “Beerbongs and Bentleys.” If this new album even comes to close to the success of Stoney, we can guarantee there will be anticipation for another Pop-Up shop from the Platinum artist. Fingers crossed!
