CD-Rám – Diverse (Album)

Brooklyn bred emcee and songwriter CD-Rám lives by one code – live what you rap
and rap what you live. The Egyptian/Lebanese born artist is unique in the sense
that he freely merges today’s rhythmic energy with the delivery and authenticity of
those that he looks up to. If experience is a measure of anything, it’s fair to say that
CD-Rám (or Ramee) has lived what most will consider good enough for one lifetime.

He played professional baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals for a year a half after
spending 3 years playing D1 for St. Louis University. He’s had the highest of highs,
touching a couple hundred thousand before the age of 21. He’s had the lowest of
lows, blowing that couple hundred thousand before the age of 21. Rám strongly
believes that all that he’s gone through has made him for who he is today.
“Experience builds confidence…”

Rám credits his parents never being around as the reason why he knows how to live on his own. Hustling was never an issue. Rám has flipped Os to luggages. Anything to make a buck to help his family out, he’d do, and now he has his eyes set on turning his lifelong passion into a reality.

CD-Rám’s debut project, ‘Diverse,’ fully encapsulates where his headspace is
currently, and the positive attitude that surrounds his life. After all he’s experienced, this project feels like a victory lap more than a debut.

“Every project I create has to do with how I’m feeling and the shit that’s going on in my life in that point in time. Thank God life’s been good right now, the vibes are right, the energy is right, the people around me are just the perfect fit to my life so
everything’s moving smooth…” CD-Rám says of his 5-track EP.

‘Diverse,’ led by singles “Through the City” and “My Party,” will find you hoping to play the summer back. It has that much energy! It’s the sonic equivalent to work
hard, play hard. From face value, what we’re hearing is braggadocios. A life that’s
not attainable. But if you dig deeper, what you hear is the bounce back after years of hustle and struggle. What you hear are stories of experience, the highs and the lows that hopefully will lead to success.

Stream “Diverse” now on Spotify or Apple Music, and if you’re in New York, catch him at SOB’s tomorrow!
