After becoming the first artist to have back-to-back no. 1 debuts on Billboard 200, Future celebrates another career milestone. This week, Nielsen Music confirmed that Beast Mode 2 earned the highest-charting streaming-only album on Billboard 200, as the projects debuts at no. 3.
The collaborative effort with Zaytoven managed to generate 57,000 album units earned, including 73.5 million on-demand streams in total. At the time of its release, the 9-track project wasn’t made available to purchase, and also wasn’t available to buy through digital retailers.
Chance the Rapper held the previous streaming for his Coloring Book album of 2016, which peaked at no. 8.
