Who is Red Prodigy –
Nerdcore sensation and co-founder of Red Prodigy, Richie Branson, has managed to create a name for himself in the early stages. He not only creates hit after hit, but he has the ability to write, produce, and mix his own creations. From that success, eventually Richie would go on to do production work with platinum recording artists: The Dream, Bun B, Rick Ross, Chalie Boy and Slim Thug. Richie continues to differentiate himself in his hometown with his signature blend of hip-hop and pop music.
Bambu’s unique, versatile flows and lyrical content ensures that he is destined for greatness. His early days as hype man for Frankie J and Bobby James have elevated him to establish his own identity as an indie artist. His talents have paved the way for him to not only open for established acts such as Miguel, Nelly, Twista, Bun B, Pitbull, Zero and Killa Streets of The Wu Tang Clan, but to also tour with Fat Joe.
Yung Mavrick’s Hip-Hop experience has respectfully earned him the reputation as being one of San Antonio’s best lyricists. His angle of relating his songs to his own life experiences births his content uniqueness preventing any fabrication. Earning high accolades in the 2009 San Antonio Awards landed him the title of Best Hip Hop Artist. Currently, his chorus contribution to the Official “Pass The Mic” theme song for the award show is still in use today.
Rosebudd brings a balance of lyrical wordplay and southern drawl that he displays through his music and demeanor. His contribution brings perfect balance to Red Prodigy. His sound has been co-signed by Def Jam’s Bone. His smooth flow can be heard on projects from Fleetwood Slim, Bambu, and Richie Branson.
Red Prodigy prides itself on being a production powerhouse. Ranging from mainstream Hip-Hop to Nerdcore to R&B, they are capable of operating successfully in a self-sufficient manner to ensure complete quality and creativity control. Their mission of creating and establishing credibility sets themselves apart from the rest and ensures their longevity.
