The patriarch of the legendary Jackson family, Joe Jackson, died at the age of 89 in Las Vegas. Jackson was battling stage-four terminal pancreatic cancer and suffered a stroke in 2015 along with numerous medical complications. However, no official cause of death has been determined yet.
Joe is credited for creating the Jackson 5 and orchestrating their life-changing deal with Motown Records, which ultimately catapulted his son Michael Jackson and other children to stardom.
