Fresh from keeping our new nation anthem Old Town Road at No.1 on the Billboard charts for 11 weeks, Lil Nas adds to this success by dropping his first EP entitled simply ‘7’. The 8 track project released courtesy of Columbia Records of course features the huge breakout track, beginning and ending the EP with both a remix and an original. The project also gets a feature from Cardi B who guests on track 5 Rodeo.
“I want you to make sure you’re listening to every single thing,” Lil Nas X tells Apple Music’s Zane Lowe of his debut EP 7. The single “Panini” borrows the melody of Nirvana’s “In Bloom” for its chorus, but Lil Nas says of the project, “It’s all music that you want to bang your head to, I guess.”
