R. Kelly underwent an emergency procedure yesterday to drain an abscess on one of his tonsils. He went to visit a throat specialist earlier in the day after experiencing throat pain, and then he was rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for the surgery.
Kelz has had to suspend his Love Letter tour until he recovers — no word on a return date. –Rahim Wright
