Single Review: “One Time” TA feat. Fat Joe & Remy Ma

New York, New York stand up! This the mantra I imagine party goers in the big apple will react after listening to the Bronx’s native TA latest single “One Time”. The record, which also features Bronx legends Fat Joe & Remy Ma, has a sound reminiscent to the club bangers of the late 90s and early 2000s; when NYC rap was dominating the charts.

The production is stellar and pulls you in as soon as the infectious sample drops “Cash rules everything around me, cream get the money/ dollar dollar bill y’all!” Joe flows first and immediately sets the tone. TA handles the second verse with swagg and witty rhymes, flaunting his B-Boy bravado. Remy closes the song with authority, showcasing her ability to rhyme with the best in the game.

Overall “One Time” is a record I’m sure many fans of the culture will enjoy. Hard beats, dope samples, bars, what more could you ask for?
