Mariah Carey recently paid Angie Martinez a visit at HOT 97 in New York for an exclusive one-on-one interview. In the clip shown, Carey is questioned about her time as a judge on the popular television show, American Idol, and explains to Martinez that the experience for her was like working in hell with Satan. It’s no secret the R&B diva bumped head numerous times with Nicki Minaj who also served also served as a judge on the show, however, Carey was careful not to reveal who she exactly was comparing to be Satan-like. Another interesting point the songstress decided touch on was that she loved many of the contestants but was disappointed when certain acts wouldn’t progress in the competition due to politics rather than talent.
