Review:
Fresh off the Dedication 6 mixtape Lil Wayne returns with “Bank Account”. Dedication 6 is Wayne’s first project since the July EP In Tune We Trust. On this track Wayne spits over a slightly altered version of 21 Savage’s “Bank Account” beat. “I got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 bank accounts, plus a main account with insane amounts, that’s something to think about.” Lil Wayne delivers sick bars and a catchy hook that makes this track stand out on the mixtape. While I enjoyed Wayne’s take on 21 Savage’s beat, more creativity could have gone into production, but it still impresses. Over the years Lil Wayne has remained consistent with his flow and delivery reminding newcomers that he’s not going anywhere.
