This year Drake released his latest album More Life, which he refers to as a playlist. It became his seventh consecutive number one album. On Spotify, More Life broke the global record for single-week artist streams. The 460 million streams behind it surpassed spins for Ed Sheeran’s Divide by nearly 10 million. In its first week, Spotify also declared Drake as the first act to reach 10 billion streams on its music platform. Drake is in his prime right now and we don’t see him slowing down any time soon.
