During her interview with The Breakfast Club Cardi spoke on her relationship with Nicki Minaj and Offset, her nine 2017 BET nominations, and the delay of her debut album. Cardi’s debut​ ​album​ ​was​ ​expected​ ​to hit​ ​retailers​ ​”next​ ​month”​ ​after​ ​she​ ​made​ ​the​ ​announcement​ ​during​ ​her​ ​performance​ ​at​ ​the​ ​Made​ ​In America​ ​festival.​ ​But​ ​it​ ​seems​ ​now​ ​like​ ​she’s​ ​considering​ ​pushing​ ​the​ ​release​ ​of​ ​the​ ​album​ ​back.
