Last week, Rick Ross was hospitalized and reportedly placed on life support for reasons unknown. He has now been released from the hospital, according to TMZ. He is allegedly receiving care at his home. Reports from Pitchfork has contacted Rick Ross’ representatives for comment and more information. Rick Ross’ camp has not made any public comments about his condition, but, last night, his Instagram account posted a photo with the caption “#FloridaBoy.” This is a developing story.
The health scare was considered substantial and even dire at one point. There were reports that Ross was on life support through an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation machine (ECMO). However, Ross’ MMG artist Fat Trel denied the “life support” claims and said that he was doing “good.”
Friends and fans, including Drake, Lil Wayne, Missy Elliott, and LeBron James, offered prayers for the MMG boss on social media and in interviews.
